Triston Masters · Reel tape
Erik Satie – Initiés
Branka Parlić explores the quiet intensity and distinctive harmonic language of Erik Satie. The programme pairs the seven Gnossiennes with the Gymnopédies, Ogives and other short piano works, presented across two reels. Recorded and mixed by Manuel Egger at Suburban Sound Studios in Winterthur, the sleeve notes describe an entirely live, all-analogue production using Neumann microphones, TAB preamplifiers and a Telefunken M10 A tube tape machine.
